Mike and Linda - Wings & whistles is both business and pleasure for Mike and Linda Schulenberg. Here they have developed a comprehensive dog training and boarding business. Most of their business has grown from word of mouth from happy clients. Their property consists of 40 acres of fields, woods, and wetlands to provide the perfect setting for the training of your dog. Mike has 18 years experience of being a professional dog trainer. He has trained both pointing and flushing breeds. When Mike started training professionally he was unique because he not only trained the dogs, he also worked with the owners over a number of training sessions. Mike still feels it is important to work with the owners so they know how to handle their dog when they get home. Mike also feels that each dog is unique with different personality. He adjusts his training methods to work with each dog effectively. During Mike's free time you will find him spending time with family. Mike and Linda and their children, Rachael and Peter, love to hunt and fish together.

Along with producing a great hunting dog. Dave has a special skill working with the animals owner to pass on the knowledge of handling their dog. Patience, Understanding and Consistency are the qualities needed to gain the trust and respect of an animal. Dave applies these traits in his training regime. When he isn't training, Dave's favorite pastimes are hunting with his loyal lab Jet, or you will find him on a horseback excursion with his wife Holly.
